Following the completion of her MS in Nutrition at Bastyr University and a Dietetic Internship at Washington State University, Gretchen Gruender entered the field of oncology nutrition, where she has spent the last 14+ years of her career. Today, Gretchen is recognized as a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition through the Commission for Dietetic Registration. She is also a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in addition to dietetic practice groups in Oncology Nutrition and Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine.

Gretchen’s approach to nutrition coaching takes the whole person – body, mind, and spirit – into consideration in order to initiate and sustain positive lifestyle changes. She is intentional about integrating education and context into her coaching in order to best support clients on an individual basis.
